Making ads with Zeely is pretty straightforward, but once you start working with your own products, images, and prompts, a few questions can come up along the way.
Below we’ve put together some of the questions users ask most often. These tips should help you set things up smoothly and get better results from your creatives.
How do I add my own product?
At Select an image step, pick a product you’ve already added, or click Import new.
If you’re adding a product from a link, take a moment to look over what Zeely pulled in. Check the name, description, and images. If something looks off, just fix it or swap the photos out for better ones. Make sure everything is clear and accurate — this is a “food” for AI learns from to generate better results.
How can I make my product look true to life?
Start with a good photo. Make sure:
make sure the whole product shows up in the frame, and your photos are high-resolution — skip anything blurry or low-quality like 360p.
there’s only one product in the image
nothing is cropped out
any text on the product is easy to read
The clearer the image, the better the AI can work with it.
How do I include multiple products in one ad?
Create the product as a set. For example, name it something like “Acne care skincare set for oily skin.” Upload a photo where the whole set is visible and mention what’s inside the bundle in the description. This way the AI understands it’s one product set.
This is an example of a set that includes a moisturizing cream and a piece of jewelry. When the product was added, the name entered in the field was “AWESKIN & FEMI SET – Love Yourself First.”
Why won’t my images upload?
Usually, this happens because of the file format or size. Make sure your image is in a supported format (JPG, PNG, JPEG, HEIC, or WEBP) and doesn’t exceed the 10 MB size limit. You can also convert your images using free tools like towebp.io.
Can I create an ad for my business, not just a specific product?
Yes, you can. To create a new asset that represents your brand, add the company name as the product title and write a short description of your business. For images, it’s better to upload photos of your store, logo, signage, team members, or any visual elements that represent your brand identity.
This approach allows you to generate ads focused on your company rather than a single product.
How do I make sure the text on my T-shirt looks right?
Upload a clear image where the T-shirt is fully visible and the text on it is easy to read. Avoid photos where the shirt is folded, cropped, or blurry.
High-resolution images with readable text help the AI reproduce the design more accurately.
How do I add text to my ad?
Enter the text directly in the Prompt field.
If you want the text to appear exactly as written, place it inside quotation marks. This tells the AI to preserve the phrase. You can also use the editor to add it to creatives you’ve already generated if you’d like to keep the design.
Example: “Place ‘Summer Sale – 30% Off’ in the upper-right corner as a small badge.”
How can I change the text in my ad?
Open the creative in Projects, click Edit, and describe the changes you want in the field. You can adjust the message and colors, then click Generate to get a new version of the ad.
How do I add a list of benefits for my product or service?
Add the benefits in the field where you write your prompt for the ad. Simply describe what benefits you want the AI to show.
For example, you could write something like: “Add a short benefits list: unyielding edge retention, indestructible full-tang build, and all-weather ergonomic grip.”
You can also choose a reference that has a layout with text or bullet points. The reference helps the AI understand where and how to place the benefits so they are clearly visible in the creative.
How can I include a promo code, sale message, or other details?
Include this information directly in the Prompt field. For example: “Add a badge that says ‘20% Off with code SUMMER20’ and include a short benefits list highlighting free shipping and premium materials.”
Providing clear instructions helps the AI incorporate promotional details into the design.
How do I add my website address to the ad?
Add your website in the prompt field, specifying where it should appear in the ad. For example: “Please insert the text “Shop on Pandora.net” at the bottom of the ad in a small, clear font.”
Choosing a reference with a layout that includes text or a call-to-action can also help the AI place the website naturally in the design.
How do I edit my ad after it’s generated?
In Projects, open the creative and click Edit. Enter the changes in the field, adjust the message or colors, and click Generate to create a new version.
How can I tweak my ad so it doesn’t look exactly like the reference?
Try writing a new prompt. Even small tweaks can lead to a completely new result.
What should I do if I can’t find a good reference?
You can create an ad without a reference — our system works its magic using just your product or service photo. Also, you can upload your own reference if you’re inspired by someone else’s idea.
If you have something specific in mind, write your own prompt.
How do I change the layout of my ad?
Find a reference you like in Zeely’s library or upload your own. For inspiration, try browsing Pinterest or the Meta Ads Library to see what’s working right now.
Why is my generation stuck?
Occasionally, the generation may get stuck due to technical issues or the AI's processing of requests, including when external data is involved.

Why is AI ignoring my prompt?
When demand is high, AI can occasionally miss parts of a prompt. Waiting a bit and trying again usually helps. You could also write a more direct prompt,
What should I do with my ad when it’s ready?
Once your ad is ready, launch a paid campaign. We recommend generating a few more creatives for this product so you have options to test.
