How to use Social posting for TikTok

Learn how to schedule posts to TikTok with Social posting.

Plan and schedule TikTok videos, photos, and carousel posts from your Zeely dashboard.

Social posting lets you publish organic TikTok content without setting up a paid campaign. You can use media from your Zeely gallery, create something new, and organize upcoming publications on a calendar.

Before you begin, make sure your TikTok profile is public.

  1. Log in to your Zeely account: https://app.zeely.ai/

  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Social media and select Social posting. Then click Start posting.

  3. When Zeely asks where you want to publish your content, choose TikTok.

  4. If this is your first time launching a campaign, Zeely will ask you to connect your TikTok account. Log in to your account, or sign up if you’re a newbie.

  5. Review the connection details and click Continue to agree to Zeely’s Terms of Service.

TikTok will return you to Zeely when the connection is complete. You will not need to repeat this setup every time you create a campaign.

  6. On the calendar, hover over the date when you want your content to be published. Click Create post.

  7. The first thing you'll see is the Choose media content screen. Use the filters at the top to find your way around. Tap Publish to and choose where you want to post: Instagram, TikTok, or both. The available TikTok publishing options are:

    • Video

    • Photo

    • Carousel post

If an Instagram account is also connected, its publishing options appear separately. Select only TikTok if you are preparing a TikTok-only campaign.

  8. Choose images and videos from your Zeely gallery. Use the filters above the gallery to find the content you need:

    • All assets: View content for every asset or select a specific product or service.

    • All formats: Narrow the gallery by media format.

You can create up to 20 TikTok publications in one campaign. In a TikTok-only campaign, each selected media file creates one publication, so selecting two files produces two publications.

The counter above the gallery keeps track of both numbers. For example, 2 media · 2 publications means that two files have been selected and Zeely will schedule two TikTok publications.

Each selected card shows how it will be published, such as Video or Photo. Check these labels before continuing to make sure the format is correct.

To create new content instead, click Create new and choose the type you want to make:

    • Reels to create a new Talking-head avatar

    • Post to create a new Image ad

Note: You can start creating a campaign and just close it. It will be saved as a draft, so you can return anytime and select Launch from the three dots.

  9. Zeely will put together the initial campaign details for you, but you can adjust the schedule before moving on.

To avoid duplicate posts, make sure you don’t schedule the same content more than once or combine manual posting with scheduled posts for the same creative.

For TikTok: We recommend scheduling no more than 7 posts per day. Publishing more frequently may cause TikTok to pause publishing for up to 24 hours.

To change the date or time, click the arrow next to the start date and time. Select a new date and time from the calendar, then click Apply.

  10. In just a few seconds, Zeely puts together your posting schedule.

  11. On Final check before launch, select the TikTok tab and review every post’s preview and Publish date.

    • To make a change, click the pencil icon on the post.

    • To remove a post from the campaign, click the X.

Publication timing: Posts may go live up to 30 minutes before or after their scheduled time because TikTok may need additional time to process them. For example, a post scheduled for 11:00 may appear between 10:30 and 11:30. This timing difference does not mean the post was scheduled incorrectly in Zeely.

  12. When everything looks good, click Save.

  13. When you’re ready, click Launch campaign to add your posts to the calendar. After setup, you’ll see all your scheduled posts with their dates and times. If you feel like you need to make a tweak before launch, click the post to edit it or delete it.
