Social posting helps you plan and publish Instagram content without setting up a paid campaign. You can use images and videos from your Zeely gallery, create new content, and schedule it for Instagram Posts, Stories, Reels, or carousel posts.
Before you begin, make sure your Instagram profile is:
Public rather than private
Set up as a professional Business or Creator account
Open in the same browser you use for Zeely
Here's how to do it:
Log in to your Zeely account: https://app.zeely.ai/
In the left-hand menu of your Zeely dashboard, find Social media and click Social posting. Then, click Start posting.
When Zeely asks where you want to publish your content, choose Instagram.
If this is your first time launching a campaign, Zeely will ask you to connect your Instagram account. Make sure you’re logged in to Instagram in your browser and that your profile is set up as a Business or Creator account.
Follow the on-screen instructions from Instagram and grant the necessary permissions so Zeely can post your videos as Reels.See that green arrow? Select Business or Creator as your account type.
Yep, right where the green arrow points!
You're almost done, just choose a category that describes your business or work.
Trust the green arrow — it’s never wrong.
Next, review the permissions requested by Zeely Posting-IG. Keep the permissions needed to access your media and publish content enabled, then click Allow.
Instagram will return you to Zeely when the connection is complete. You will not need to repeat this setup every time you create a campaign.
On the calendar, hover over the date when you want your content to be published. Click Create post.
Tap Publish to to choose where your ad will go — Instagram, TikTok, or both. Then, choose the exact Instagram placements you want to use:
Reel
Story
Post
Carousel post
You can select more than one placement. The options that apply to a media file depend on its format. For example, a video can be published as a Reel and a Story, while an image can be published as a Post and a Story.
In the next section, you can pick the product you want to promote and choose the ad type, whether it’s a static image or a video.
Select up to 20 media files. When you select multiple compatible placements, Zeely may create more than one publication from each file. With all placements selected, 20 files can produce up to 40 publications.
The counter above the gallery keeps these totals separate. For example, 2 media · 4 publications means you've selected two files, each publishing in two places. Each selected card shows its destinations, such as Reel / Story or Post / Story. Give these a quick look before moving on to make sure everything is going where you expect.
To create something new instead, click Create new and choose the type of content you want to make:
Reels to create a new Talking-head avatar.
Post to create a new Image ad.
You can leave the campaign before launching it. Zeely will save your progress as a draft, and you can come back later and click Launch from the three-dot menu.
Zeely will put together the initial campaign details for you, but you can adjust the schedule before moving on.
To change the date or time, click the arrow next to the start date and time. Select a new date and time from the calendar, then click Apply.
Note: Avoid scheduling the same creative more than once. Publishing it manually as well as through Social posting may result in duplicate posts.
In just a few seconds, Zeely puts together your posting schedule.
On Final check before launch, review each post’s preview and publication date. Use the Instagram and TikTok tabs to switch between platforms.
To make changes, click the pencil icon on the post.
To remove it from the campaign, click the X.
When everything looks right, click Launch.
Please pay attention to the timing note: Posts may go live up to 30 minutes before or after their scheduled time due to processing by the social platform. For example, a post scheduled for 11:00 may appear between 10:30 and 11:30.
When everything looks good, click Save.
When you’re ready, click Launch campaign and let Zeely fill in your calendar.
After setup, you’ll see all your scheduled posts with their dates and times.
If you need to make a change before something is published, select the post on the calendar and update its details. You can also add or adjust tags and use the calendar view to keep track of everything you have lined up.By the way, do not forget to play with tags. You can also check the calendar view to see all your scheduled publications in one place.
Tip: When planning content for several days, consider using different Reels instead of repeating the same one. This helps keep your audience engaged and can improve overall performance.
