Sometimes when you try to import a product into Zeely using a link, the system cannot fetch the details automatically. This does not mean anything is broken. In most cases, it comes down to the way the product page or link is set up.
The simple rule to remember
Before digging into technical details, start with the quick check:
Make sure the link is correct and points directly to a product page.
If the link is correct but the product still does not load, add the product manually in Zeely.
If manual adding does not solve the problem, contact our support team for help.
Now let’s look more closely at the most common reasons why a product might not load.
1. Unsupported website
Zeely works best with platforms like Etsy, Amazon, WordPress, Wix, Drupal, Joomla, or Shopify-based stores.
If your link comes from an unsupported site (for example, AliExpress or Shein), automatic import may not be available.
2. Dynamic or hidden content
Some websites display product information using scripts or content that only loads after interaction. Zeely can’t always detect this automatically, which prevents the import.
3. Invalid or restricted URL
The link isn’t a direct product page (it points to a category or homepage instead).
The URL includes tracking parameters or redirects that block loading.
The page is password-protected, region-locked, or requires login.
The page uses http:// instead of https://, which Zeely does not support.
4. Product removed or inactive
If the product has been deleted, unpublished, or moved to a new link, Zeely won’t be able to import it.
5. Temporary issues
Sometimes the problem isn’t with the link itself. Import may fail if:
The source website is temporarily down.
Your internet connection is unstable.
Browser extensions or cache interfere with loading.
