Sometimes you just want to move fast. You have an idea, maybe a few images or a link, and you want to turn it into a polished, ready-to-launch image ad without building a full product setup first.
Good news: you can.
In Zeely, there are three easy ways to generate an image without adding a product in advance:
Template ad (the ability to create creative content based on proven templates from top brands)
AI Image ad (in case If you want more creative freedom and AI-driven generation)
Choose the flow that fits your goal.
Create without a product using Template ad
Log in to your Zeely account at https://app.zeely.ai/.
In the left-hand menu of your dashboard, under Marketing tools, click Image ads.
Choose Template ad.
In the asset section, select Import new.
In the assets window, you could fill in everything manually, or paste a product link to let AI import the details automatically. Anyway, it's you who can control:
Uploading your product or service images manually
Description of what you’re going to advertise, including key details such as benefits, materials, color, or unique features
Tip: If you’re adding a link, use the exact product page rather than the main website page.
Information about your Target audience, the group of people most likely to care about what you're selling
Choose a template from the available options. These templates are based on proven ad structures designed to help your product stand out.
After AI generates your ad, customize it:
Rewrite or polish the caption
Adjust the mood or tone of the text
Swap in different images if you’d like
Change the template or update the colors to better match your brand
Adjust the size by clicking on the image. A grid will appear, and you can resize or reposition it as needed.
If you switch between square and rectangle at the top, you can choose the visual size: Post, Ad, or Story.
💡 By the way, if your template has several image slots (for example, 3 or 4), you can easily change their order. Just click the image you want to replace inside the template, then pick another from the left panel — or upload a new one.
You could also enhance your image with AI, which means creating a whole new one. On the left, hover over the image you’d like to improve and look for the icon with green stars.
Click it, and a panel will open on the right. There, you’ll find several AI scenarios to choose from: Lifestyle, Studio scene, On-model, Unboxing, Floating hero, and Position shift.
Pick the scenario that you like the most, then click AI create. In a moment, Zeely will generate a new image for you.
When everything looks right, click Create ad.
Your finished creative will appear in the Projects under Image ads tab.
Create without a product using AI image ad
Log in to your Zeely account at https://app.zeely.ai/.
In your dashboard, go to Marketing tools on the left and click Image ads.
Select AI Image ad.
You’ll be taken to the creator page, where Zeely will create an ad for you. It only takes a few details from your side to be added to help AI define the task. In assets window, click + Image to upload your product or service images.
In the assets window, you could fill in everything manually, or paste a product link to let AI import the details automatically.
Anyway, you can always add important details so the AI can take them into consideration while creating an ad.
Describe what you’re going to advertise, including key details such as benefits, materials, color, or unique features
Write about your target audience — a description of your potential customers
Choose a reference style from the list or upload your own reference image. At the top, you can see filters for your product or service type in light grey. If you don’t want to use a reference, click the X in the upper-right corner to skip this step. AI will generate the creative without it.
Add a prompt (optional). You can write your own prompt or skip it.
If you’d like help, click Generate idea, and AI will suggest one based on your image and description.
Choose the AI model for generation (for example, Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, or ChatGPT).
Select the aspect ratio (this defines your size) and choose how many outputs you want to generate.
When everything looks good, click Create ad.
Generation may take a short moment. Your creative will appear on the right side of the screen once it’s ready.
