How to create a video without a pre-added product?

If you want to create a video right away without setting up a product, follow the steps below.

You already have an idea, maybe even some visuals, and you just want to create a video ad. You can do that in Zeely. There are several ways to do it, and we’ll walk you through each one.

Here's how:

Create without a product using UGC-style video

  1. Log in to your Zeely account: https://app.zeely.ai/

  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Creative tools → Video studio. Then, choose UGC-style video.

  3. In the product section, select Import new asset.

  4. In the asset window:
    ​

    • Paste your product link to let AI import details automatically, or

    • Add details manually
      ​

    Include key information like features, benefits, materials, or color.
    If using a link, choose the exact product page, not the homepage.

    Click Continue.
    ​

  5. Select a preset:
    ​

    • General — simple product highlight

    • Fashion try-on — model showcases the product

    • Product showcase — AI influencer presents the product

    • Service showcase — explains a service

    • Digital demo — shows how something works

  6. You’ll be redirected to the creative space, where you can:
    ​

    • Choose an AI avatar (or create your own)

    • Add a prompt (optional)

    • Select an AI model (Nano Banana Pro or Nano Banana 2)

    • Choose the number of outputs

    You can skip choosing an avatar and writing a prompt. Zeely can analyze your product and select what fits best.
    ​

  7. Click Create start image and wait about 30 seconds. Once the start image is ready, review it, and click Create video.

  8. Set up your video to match your vision.
    ​

    Start with the general settings:
    ​

    • Write or generate a script for your AI influencer

    • Choose the voice and its intonation

    • Adjust the accent

    • Select the AI model for video generation

    • Add a prompt if you want more control, or let Zeely handle it

    Then move to Captions:
    ​

    • Toggle captions off or on

    • Choose their position: top, center, or bottom

    • Select a color, or use the color wheel to find the one you like

    Your video will be ready in about 10 minutes. Head to Projects → Video tab to find your finished video. Zeely will also send you a notification as soon as it’s ready, so you won’t miss it ✦

Create without a product using Avatar video ad

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Creative tools → Video studio.

  2. Choose Avatar video ad.

  3. In the product section, select Import new asset.

  4. In the asset window:
    ​

    • Paste your product link to let AI import details automatically, or

    • Add details manually

    Include key information like features, benefits, materials, or color.
    If using a link, choose the exact product page, not the homepage.
    ​

  5. You’ll be redirected to a quick setup screen. Take a look:

    • Zeely will automatically select an AI avatar
      If you want to change it, click See all and filter by gender, age, pose, ethnicity, style, or mood

    • Review or add a script
      Tap Play to listen to how it sounds

    • Check your images
      If you don’t have enough, click Generate to create additional visuals automatically

    • (Optional) Add a visual hook
      This is a short, attention-grabbing moment at the start, like a UGC-style clip or a meme

    When everything is ready, click Generate. The video will take about 10 minutes to process. You’ll receive a notification once it’s ready ✦

Create without a product using Image to video

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Creative tools → Video Studio.

  2. Choose Image to Video.

  3. In the product section, select Import new asset. Then, in the asset window:
    ​

    • Paste a direct product link to let AI import details automatically, or

    • Add the information manually
      ​

    Make sure the link leads to the exact product page, not the homepage.

  4. Click Continue. Then, you’ll be redirected to the creative page, where you can:
    ​

    • If you’d like, add a reference. Choose one from the library or upload your own. You can use templates for products, services, or any visual style you like. Not sure what to pick? You can leave it blank, and Zeely will take care of it for you.

    • Select an AI model

    Click Create start image and wait about 40 seconds.
    ​

  5. Once the image is ready, click Create video. In video settings, you can:

  • Edit the prompt

  • Choose the AI model

  • Set the duration (5 or 10 seconds)

Click Create Video and then wait a bit. Your video will be ready in about 5 minutes ✦

Create without a product using Sora video ad

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Creative tools → Video Studio.

  2. Choose Sora Video Ad.

  3. In the product section, select Import new asset. Then, in the asset window:
    ​

    • Paste a direct product link to let AI import details automatically, or

    • Add the information manually
      ​

    Include key information like features, benefits, materials, or color.
    If using a link, choose the exact product page, not the homepage.
    ​

    Click Continue.

  4. You’ll be redirected to the creative space, where you can:
    ​

    • Write your own prompt, or generate one with Zeely

    • Choose the AI model
      ​

    Note: In the prompt field, your text may not be fully visible at first. That’s okay. To see the entire prompt, move your cursor to the right and scroll through it.

    When you feel like the ad idea is ready, click Create start image.
    ​

  5. After the image is generated, click Create video. Then, in Video settings, review or edit the prompt to make sure everything looks the way you want.

    Click Create video. And in just 5 minutes, your video will be ready ✦

Create without a product using Text to speech

  1. In the left-hand menu, go to Creative tools → Video Studio.

  2. Choose Text to speech

  3. Select the avatar you want to be the face of your ad.

  4. Select a product for your video by clicking + New product.

    Then, in the modal that opens, choose how you want to add it:

    • Paste a direct product link (not the homepage), or

    • Click I don’t have a link and add the product manually: include key information like features, benefits, materials, or color

    If you added the product using a link, take a moment to review the details and make sure everything was imported correctly.

  5. Once your product details are added, click Continue. You’ll be taken to the script page. Here you can:
    ​

  • Edit the script

  • Let AI help you write it

  • Or simply keep the version generated for you.


When you’re happy with the script, click Continue. And in just 5 minutes, Zeely will make the video for you ✦
