How to create Avatar video ad?

Your product takes center stage, an avatar tells the story, and in minutes you’ve got a video ad that feels like you had a whole crew behind it.

Think of an AI video ad as your product stepping into the spotlight. Your images set the scene, while an avatar steps forward to tell the story. The result feels like a mini commercial with its own presenter and stage crew — only here, everything happens virtually, and all it takes is a few taps.

Here's how to do it:

  1. Go to AI videos (the play button at the bottom of the app). Under Creator’s kit, tap Avatar video ad.

  2. Choose a product from your assets below, upload new images, or paste a link and we’ll fetch the assets for you.

  3. Review the images, name, and description.

Your video needs at least 7 images. If you have fewer than that, upload more or allow AI to reuse images you already have.

If everything looks good, tap Continue.

  4. Choose your AI avatar. Browse the library and pick the one that feels right for your brand’s voice and style. You can filter avatars by gender and age.

  5. Write your script or pick a script style.

    • For full control, pick Creator’s mode at the top (the pencil icon inside the dotted square) to write your own script. Here, you can start from scratch, and if you need a helping hand in writing, tap the ✨ stars button to let AI polish your text.

    • Or scroll through the bubbles below and pick a ready-made style. Once you choose, Zeely’s AI will draft the copy for you.

    • Optionally, you can also add a visual hook, which is the very first visual in your video. It’s what stops people from scrolling. This can be a meme, or a raw UGC-style clip that doesn’t feel like an ad but sparks curiosity right away.

    • If you want to make changes to your hook, tap Edit. There, you can rewrite the text, remove it, or highlight it with a background color. You can also align it to the top, center, or bottom. When changes are made, tap Save. Then hit Add to video.

Note: Adding a visual hook is totally up to you. It’s a nice little boost if you want that extra scroll-stopping moment, but feel free to skip it and keep going. Your video will work either way beautifully ✦

    • By the way, you can prelisten to the script before making your video. Just tap the little play icon next to the avatar on the right and hear how it sounds. When you’re happy with it, tap Continue.

  6. Manage video details. Add background music to set the mood and pick the subtitle color that fits your brand.

    • For Subtitles, tap the pencil in the upper-right corner to choose color, then tap Apply.

    • For Music, tap the pencil to preview tracks with Play, then tap Apply.

When everything feels right, tap Continue.

  7. Final review. Images, avatar, hook (if added), script, music — make sure it all flows. If you want to edit something, tap the pencil. To remove the hook, tap the bin icon in the lower-right corner of the image.

When everything looks good, tap Generate, and AI bring your video to life.

  8. Your finished videos appear in the Projects tab in AI videos. You’ll also get an email and a push notification when they’re ready. From there, you can edit, download, or share them.

✨ While the video renders, take a sip of coffee… by the time you go for the second, your ad will be ready.
