Sometimes a creative just needs a little polish, or a clean slate. Maybe you’ve spotted a typo, want to test a new color, or simply feel like the ad could tell your story better. In Zeely’s web version, editing or deleting a static creative takes just a few clicks, giving you the freedom to experiment, refine, and keep your brand looking sharp.
One thing to keep in mind. The way you edit depends on how the image was created.
If you are working with a template, you can adjust elements directly, such as colors, text, and layout.
If the image was created using AI Image Ad, editing works differently. In that case, you refine the prompt, and the image updates accordingly.
How to edit images created with templates:
Log in to your Zeely account: https://app.zeely.ai/
Go to the Projects section and click Static ads — those filters above.
Select the creative you want to edit. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the bottom-right corner of the creative card. Then click Edit.
Note: You can refine a generated static creative using a simple text prompt and receive a new version saved as a separate asset, while the original remains unchanged and always accessible.
Inside the editor, you can fine-tune your ad using the tools below:
Text editing (top of screen above the image):
Rewrite all – instantly generate a new version of the full text.
Proofread – fix grammar and clarity issues automatically.
Ask AI to create – enter your own prompt and let AI write the text for you.
Change mood – choose between a Friendly or Professional tone.
Visual editing (left-side panel):
Images – replace visuals with new ones from your library or device.
Templates – switch to another layout while keeping your content.
Colors – adjust your design colors:
Primary – main color of the template
Accent – highlights and buttons
Text – font color
When you’re done, click Save (upper right corner) to apply your changes.
Tip: Mix AI tools with your personal touch for the best-performing creatives.
That's it, now your updated creative ads is in Projects section under Image tab.
Zeely note: If you want to delete a creative, simply tap the three dots (...) next to it and select the Delete option.
How to edit AI images:
Log in to your Zeely account: https://app.zeely.ai/
Go to the Projects section and choose AI image. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the bottom-right corner of the creative card. Then click Edit.
In the prompt window, describe clearly what you want to change. Then, hit Generate.
Give Zeely a minute to create a new image for you. The updated creative ad will be waiting for you in Projects section under Image tab.
